Shelley is originally from Atlanta, GA and earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Clemson University. She enjoyed working as a labor and delivery nurse for five years, then moved to Seattle to pursue her Master’s (2001) and Doctorate (2008) in Nursing at the University of Washington. She is dually board certified as an Adult and Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the national honor society for nursing. She is also a proud member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Seattle Tacoma Area Reproductive Society. In 2014, 2015 and 2016, she was recognized as one of Seattle Metropolitan Magazine Top Doctors as an ARNP.
In her free time, Shelley enjoys living an active lifestyle with her family, including playing lots of tennis and spoiling her golden retriever, Skipper.
