“I’m a true Seattle area native and spent my childhood growing up on the Sammamish plateau. I was born at the University of Washington Medical Center, where I returned years later to complete my own medical training.”
Dr. Wald’s specific research and clinical interests include: Assisting couples with genetic conditions requiring assisted reproductive technology for preimplantation genetic diagnosis, the genetics of ovarian aging and the impact of endometriosis on fertility. She also has a special interest in ensuring all reproductive age women with cancer are given the opportunity to preserve their ability to conceive following cancer treatment. Her fellowship training and research carried an emphasis on fertility preservation in cancer patients and Dr. Wald has been an author on several manuscripts addressing optimal preservation and treatment strategies for this unique patient population.
Dr. Wald sees patients at our Everett location. Outside of work, Dr. Wald enjoys spending time with her family, long distance running, skiing, attending local sporting events and exploring the beautiful outdoors of the Pacific Northwest.
