Anna Vanderhoff, MD

SEATTLE

Dr. Anna Vanderhoff is a Seattle native who earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from Stanford University, graduating with honors. She then returned home and received her medical degree at the University of Washington, where she also graduated with honors. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and went on to complete her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Vanderhoff received multiple awards throughout her training, including the top award for excellence in women’s health from the University of Washington Medical School, a teaching award from Harvard Medical School, and an award for quality improvement from Massachusetts General Hospital. Throughout her career, she has also authored nearly 30 peer-reviewed research publications, abstracts and poster presentations on a wide range of topics including breast cancer survival after fertility preservation, infertility in female physicians, accuracy of ovulation predictor kits, and public opinion on embryo disposition.

Dr. Vanderhoff considers it her life’s privilege to help patients navigate the stress associated with an infertility diagnosis– and to help them build their families. Her approach to treatment focuses on patient-provider partnership, compassion, and personalized medicine. Her specialties include fertility preservation, egg donation, preimplantation genetic testing, recurrent pregnancy loss, and Asherman’s syndrome. Dr. Vanderhoff sees patients at the Seattle location. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, watching Husky football, and traveling with her husband and two children.
