COURSE DESCRIPTION

Learn how to prepare sperm samples for IUI in your clinic. This will be a hands on workshop at SRM Seattle, working with the andrologists and nurses.  Leave with a recommended equipment list, disposables supply list, and procedure manual.

OBJECTIVES

  • Learn how to prepare a sperm sample for intrauterine insemination
  • Review standard laboratory practices and sperm assessment technique
  • Learn insemination technique

ACCREDITATION

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Washington State Medical Association and Seattle Reproductive Medicine. The WSMA is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The WSMA designates this live activity for a maximum of 10.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This activity meets the criteria for up to 10.5 hour(s) of Category I CME credit to satisfy the relicensure requirements of the Washington State Medical Quality Assurance Commission.

Note: Two (2) AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ are available for the Preconference IUI Workshop. Symposium attendees will be able to claim up to 8.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

Preconference IUI Workshop Registration

$200 if registered by April 15  |  $250 after April 15

Each session is limited to six registrations for a total of 12 learners.

Registration to the Seattle Reproductive Symposium is required to participate in this preconference workshop.
