She has extensive experience and expertise with in vitro fertilization, the relationship between genetics and fertility, preimplantation genetic testing, and complex fertility issues. She is committed to giving everyone she has the opportunity to work with their best chance of having a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.
Dr. Hurliman understands that the reasons people seek fertility care are unique and has earned a reputation for delivering thoughtful and compassionate care. From the get-go, she strives to understand her patient’s individual stories, so that she can best guide the personalized care that they deserve. Her primary goal is to help educate her patients on the factors that may impact their fertility and explore what their treatment options are so that they can make the best decision for themselves.
As a fellow, Dr. Hurliman received the prestigious ASRM/SREI National Research Service Institutional Training Award for her research focusing on cardiovascular health and infertility. Additionally, she received the ASRM and SREI In-Training Research awards for research conducted by the Reproductive Medicine Network focusing on treatment strategies for couples with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS ) and Unexplained Infertility. She has remained actively involved in research throughout her career.
Dr. Hurliman was blessed with twin boys early in her medical education. The experience of pregnancy, childbirth, and growing her own family was incredibly powerful. It shifted her direction in medicine and solidified her commitment to caring for people struggling with the ability to create a family of their own. She is grateful every day to have the opportunity to be an advocate and an educator for the people that she cares for.
