After 15 years as a general OB/GYN, Dr. McKeever joined Seattle Reproductive Medicine in 2023 and brings a holistic perspective to fertility and pregnancy care. She spent the first part of her career providing general gynecology and prenatal care and delivered over 2000 babies during that time. She has been lauded by her patients for her kindness, positivity, and compassionate bedside manner as well as her knowledgeable clinical and deft surgical skills. Dr. McKeever was named one of Seattle Magazine’s Top Doctors for 2022.
Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Dr. McKeever knew early on that education and health care would be an important part of her life. During high school she became an HIV/AIDS peer educator, providing age-appropriate training on safer sex, drug and alcohol abuse and communication skills. She graduated cum laude as a Biology major from Colorado College and spent a year during that time living and studying at the University of Valparaiso in Chile. She speaks Spanish fluently. She received her medical degree at the University of Washington School of Medicine where she was honored with the Jon B. Syren award for “personal qualities of character, integrity, and compassion, combined with a commitment to and promise of community service in medicine.” Dr. McKeever then completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. While there, she received several peer and faculty selected awards, including two teaching awards and the Dr. Jerome H. Rudolph Award in recognition of a “warm, compassionate, skilled physician whose untiring efforts on behalf of their patients resulted in an immense following of devoted friends and grateful families”.
Dr. McKeever spends her free time tending to her garden, reading fiction, paddleboarding and hiking around the Pacific Northwest, and traveling whenever and wherever possible with her husband and three teenagers.
