Dr. Mazur is committed to providing his patients with a plan that offers the best chance for success while holding true to the things that matter most to each individual.

Dr. Erik Mazur hails from Houston, Texas. He spent his college years in Ohio before returning to Houston to complete medical school, a residency in obstetrics and gynecology, and a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility along with a Masters of Science. He is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology (Ob/Gyn) and reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI).

Dr. Mazur’s research interests include progesterone receptor signaling and uterine receptivity. He has a special interest in reproductive aging and options for fertility preservation. Dr. Mazur has presented his work at international meetings, published in peer­ reviewed journals, and has recently authored a chapter on uterine function in the definitive text on human reproductive physiology, Knobil and Neill’s Physiology of Reproduction.

He is married to Dr. Angela Mazur, a pediatrician.  They stay busy with their three young children.
