Originally from Houston, Texas, Cameron earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. Following the completion of her undergraduate degree, she felt a profound, longstanding desire to serve her country and became an active duty Naval Officer. She earned her wings as a Naval Flight Officer and became a Radar Intercept Officer in the F-14A/B Tomcat as well as a Weapons System Officer in the F/A-18F Super Hornet. A combat veteran, she served her country proudly for 10 years, including 4 duty stations throughout the country and combat deployments onboard the USS Enterprise with VFA-211 and on the ground with the U.S. Army’s 5th Engineer Battalion in both Afghanistan and Iraq.

Nearing the end of her time in the Navy and after earning a Master of Forensic Science, she felt a calling to serve her community in a different way, as a Physician Assistant (PA). She immediately began working toward achieving her next dream. While in pursuit of applying to PA school, Cameron earned an Associate Degree in Science alongside working full-time as a Certified Nurse Assistant in a Skilled Nursing Facility and as a Medical Assistant in a family practice. After gaining acceptance, she completed a Master of Health Science with a Physician Assistant Certificate from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA.

Following graduation, Cameron immediately began working as an NCCPA Certified PA for 2.5 years at University of Washington’s Northwest Hospital at Northwest Neurosurgery. It was there she enthusiastically supported 4 neurosurgeons by acting as surgical first assist in the Operating Room and providing care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Cameron’s reasons for switching from neurosurgery to fertility are fueled by personal experience. As a former patient at SRM, she was overwhelmingly impressed by the care that she received and fascinated by the science behind reproductive endocrinology. Ultimately, she felt a calling to help other families in the same way that she was helped through her own fertility challenges. Excited to work in partnership with SRM’s physicians and ARNPs, Cameron is very much looking forward to establishing rapport and trust with her patients as they navigate through their goal to expand their family.

Cameron sees patients at the Seattle location. Outside of work as a proud new mother, she enjoys the beautiful PNW outdoors with her husband, baby boy and Australian shepherd pup.
